Mid-term evaluation of the Addis Tax Initiative

The Addis Tax Initiative (ATI) is an international tax initiative that aims at contributing to the financing of the 17 goals of the global 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The initiative was launched in 2015. 

Sensor-data-based accident research and prevention

The data recorded by an increasing number of sensors installed in cars, e-bikes and mobile phones has the potential to revolutionize the field of accident research and prevention.

Advisory support on the integration of work-based learning models in Albania's VET system

The United Nations Development Programme in Albania commissioned BSS to provide advisory support for its Skills Development for Employment (SD4E) Programme, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Coordination.

Research for Development

With project financing of the SNSF and SDC and within the scope of the Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development (r4d- programme), BSS is providing backstopping support to the University of Teacher Education Zurich in the implementation of an international research project.

External evaluation of the Skills for Jobs Project Bosnia and Herzegovina 

The evaluation aims to support the strategic orientation as well as assess the progress and performance of the second phase of the SDC's Skills for Jobs Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Emission Reductions and CDM Projects in India

Commissioned by the UNIDO and SECO and in cooperation with local partners, BSS created a clean development mechanism (CDM) baseline and monitoring methodology for the manufacturing of benzoic acid derivatives and spent acid recovery in India.

Business Environment Reform and Labour Productivity

The Donor Committee for Enterprise Development's Business Environment Working Group (BEWG) commissioned BSS to conduct a study to gain a better understanding of the ways business environment reforms can ameliorate labour productivity; and to identify new and emerging (best) practices and policies in this field.
